I bought the three Zhu Zhu hamsters pack for $22.00 at toys r us, They don’t work like advertized. Makes strange sounds no on and off switch and they do get stuck in the tubes. The prices keeps going up for this junk. My 6 year old loves the commercial but like most cases the toys do not work as seen on TV. She is starting to realize that . What a lesson learn. If you have to buy one don’t be a fool wait until they go back down to $7.99.

  • This product was originally listed at suggested retail price of $24.00. The item was promised by 9/3 and didn’t ship. The email I received said they couldn’t locate the product. Checking back I saw the comapny has the same product listed as instock, but price raised to $300. Checked on line again today the price is listed as $100+ This is obviously Price Gauging! They are saving the toys for people ignorant enough to pay 50x the price at Walmart/Target. I’m shocked and dissapointed that Amazon would allow their integrity and reputation to be destroyed by dealing with these companies, another company that did the same is Tracy’s Toybox. I will not order through Amazon vendors again.

Did get this toy elsewhere and I agree with the other review. The hamsters get stuck, don’t move through the tubes, and the sound didn’t work on one of them. My 6 year old was very dissapointed and decided to return it and get something else.

  • Kids everywhere want these little hampsters, but the individuals who are buying up all the Zhu Zhu pets and selling them for outrageous prices are dispicable. They are grinches who are ruining Christmas for lots of kids. It is morally wrong and reprehensible. They’re nothing but money grubbing modern day pirates stealing the joy of Christmas from children. Every year it gets worse and worse. The only way it will stop is if people stop buying products from these individuals and companies. When there is no money in it they will stop doing it and then the real free market of supply and demand will once again rein supreme.

  • These pets are just too cute. We have been lucky enough to get two from Walmart along with the car. This set sells for a little over [...] if you can get one in stock. But all the companies have bought them out every where. They are selling them way overpriced. I just can’t see why they do it. This toy is priced so a child can spend their allowance to purchase them and enjoy them. Instead, the price is jacked up three and four times what the actual price is. I think it is sad that companies would do this to children knowing they are acting like a greedy Grinch!! Is one thing to try to make a resale profit, but to sell them at these prices is ludicrous! Like I said its just like taking candy from a baby!
