My 7 year-old granddaughter had been talking of nothing but zhu zhu pets and Nana didn’t have a clue what they were! My daughter filled me in and I had the gift mailed directly to her. As it turned out I was present when my granddaughter opened it. She was thrilled! None of her friends had been able to find zhu zhus in the stores in our area so the fact that she received 2 made it all the better. They are cute little critters and we all played with them while they ran over our feet and backed up from running into table legs with their little “beeps” and “trills”. I have no idea how long the interest will last, but for now it is a very special gift for a very special little girl.

This toy is excellent for any child that likes animals. The only drawback has nothing to do with the toy it’s the incredible price gouging by the sellers. I would have liked to have known that this toy should have retailed for about $16.00 before I purchased it for $49.00. Otherwise, I really like this toy and believe it has playtime longevity with young children.

How can Amazon sell these Hamster for $118.00 for 2 when they can be purchased at Walmart for $8.00 a piece?
