I think this is a great toy. It is so hard to find simple toys..we are bombarding our kids with technical toys from day 1 and they expect that every toy must do something rather than the kid doing something wiht the toy. These balls are the perfect size for little hands & great colors. I bought a second set for Grandma’s house!

When we got these in the mail, I was initially disappointed. They seemed simply like hard plastic balls with not a lot of interesting things to them. My 8 mo old son, however, LOVES them. He turns them over in his hands and studies them and then crawls after them when they inevitably get away from him. Also, they are weighted inside so they roll in crooked little patterns that seem to entice him to chase them even more. Good toy for a beginning crawler!

the different textures and all are pretty neat, but they just don’t hold attention at home when there are better toys around. These are good for the baby to play with when we are in the car though. Very portable.
