I bought this for my daughter when she turned 5 months hoping this will put her to sleep faster and maybe she won’t rely on her pacifier so much. Although the seahorse is very cute and soft it stops playing music way before my daughter falls asleep, she needs at least 20 minutes. She does like to play with it in the crib and the light in the belly is very interesting to her but if you buy this solely to help your little one fall asleep I would say consider something else with longer timer.

I bought the blue seahorse when my daughter was about 5 months old. It was her nap and sleeping toy/stuffed animal that only lives in her crib,so she learned to know this toy with sleep only. This also makes it great for trips. Once she see’s it she feels more comfortable. She has grown very attached to this toy.
The seahorse has volume control which is great bc babies cuddle up to it and the music can be soft and not hurt their ears. As my daughter grew,she learned how to turn it on and off,great for cause/effect. I also taught my daughter about the seahorses eyes,nose,tail, color etc. Every morning she hands it to me,gives it a kiss and shows me that she can turn it on,so cute. She is now 17 months old and still loves it!
I also bought another one in pink for her grandparents to leave over their house for sleepovers. Love it!! Almost better than the oldie glow worm! lol

My son loves this toy. I used to use it to help put him to sleep when he was a few months old, but as he’s grown older (16 months), he has learned to use it himself! Every night when I put him down he reaches around his crib and activates it so he can use the light to find a good spot to lie down. Then the seahorse sings him to sleep. I keep an extra one in my car for long trips.

It is about medium size not to big but not to small. Helped my lil niece go to sleep when she needed to. Awesome little songs that are soothing to a childs ear.

We got this for my three month old baby. When we lay her down at night for bed, we turn this on and she is fast asleep by the time the music stops. Every parent should have one.
