got this for my 6 month old after the reviews and i like that it plays music longer than the glow worm, but my baby isn’t as mesmerized by it as he is by the glow worm.

So I got this seahorse for my son after all the ladies on my pregnancy website said their babies LOVED it. I really wanted it to work for him, but he HATES IT!!! He will sit with it about two seconds and then he starts crying. I am sure the fact that he fights sleep worse than any baby I have ever met doesn’t help!!! I only gave it two stars because it didn’t work for us, but I know it is perfect for a ton of mommy’s and daddy’s!!! It’s really cute…and right now its on sale! They make a pink one too

I’m trying to get my 9 month old to go to sleep on his own. I’ve been using this for over a week. While this toy is very cute and the music is soothing, it does nothing for my son. The light seems quite bright AND it doesn’t keep his attention. Maybe if I had started using it when he was younger it would have worked better. I’m going to keep it for when he’s older.

First of all, this toy does have a really soothing light. However, the sound is LOUD and it cuts off long before a baby enters deep sleep. The music cuts off about halfway through my son’s REM cycle and it wakes him up when it stops every time. It’s going to Goodwill.

It is adorable the music is very soothing and the light seems to make him happy. I am sure it will be used for a long time even my 4 year old loves it.
